A simple set-up to a story that is really an expose on the desires of two teenagers, their dreams and hopes, who hit the road in order to find a place that will offer more than their rural setting.
Tears Synopsis
A short drama from Ivan Sen about two teenagers Lena (Jamilla Frail) and Vaughn (Luke Carroll) who want to get off the 'mish’ – or the mission.
Tears Curator's Notes
Tears introduces two characters Lena (Jamilla Frail) and Vaughn (Luke Carroll) who were later to appear in Ivan Sen’s first feature film Beneath Clouds (2001). The elements that shaped the later feature film are presented here, though due to its format, as a restricted exposé. We are introduced to the teenagers who have made designs on getting off the mission.
