Necrobarista

Necrobarista

2020

Necrobarista (2020) is a visual novel game by Australian studio Route 59.

Its trailer showcases the cinematic scope of the game's anime-based aesthetic and the shadowy, nocturnal cool of its setting. In a laneway coffee shop (so Melbourne!) called The Terminal, the dead have one last night to mingle with the living. High stakes and high production values, deep issues and a playful treatment of 2020s hipster and meme culture make Necrobarista a keeper. NFSA has acquired both the PC and Nintendo Switch versions of the game.

May it rise from its crypt for many years to come.
