Mediatheque
Pull up a chair and press play – a relaxed lounge for watching and listening.

Get comfy and settle in for a 75-minute loop of rare films, music clips and delightfully offbeat screen culture in the Mediatheque.
With soft seating and a large screen, it’s the perfect spot to pause, recharge and dip into highlights from the National Film and Sound Archive’s collection.
The program changes regularly, bringing fresh clips, playlists and unexpected finds. Selections draw from television, film, music and audiovisual curiosities – from classic variety shows and kids’ TV to short films and curious archival finds.
You might catch an episode of The Mike Walsh Show, revisit iconic ads like Louie the Fly or Cottee’s Cordial, or step behind the circus tent with Con Colleano Home Movies, a rare glimpse of First Nations megastar Con Colleano.
Mediatheque is open daily and free to enjoy.
