Queen Elizabeth

Queen Elizabeth II’s reign of 70 years and 214 days is the longest of any British monarch, and the longest of any queen regnant in history. Elizabeth II (21 April 1926 – 8 September 2022) was the first reigning monarch to set foot on our shores. Her 1954 visit was captured in the first-ever feature-length colour documentary made in Australia, The Queen in Australia, and she returned to Australia 15 times since that tour.
