The Microbee, developed in the 1980s by Applied Technology, was one of the first networkable home computers. It was designed by an Australian team, and several hundred thousand units were produced and sold in Australia and overseas. It was the first computer widely implemented in Australian schools and supported its own unique software library. Games created for the Microbee included the Air Traffic Control simulator, Sydney Approach.
