This recording was made at a Radio Station (possibly in Sydney). Marshall Crosby (Australian Film Stage and radio Actor ) and a group of actors were with the Oliviers in a pub, during the time that the Oliviers toured Australia. The discussion turned to Australian poetry and the rhythm of the vernacular, and how only an Australian voice could deliver the rhythm of Australian verse. The Oliviers disagreed, and as part of a friendly bet, they all trooped from the pub to a nearby radio studio, and recorded the poems to the disc. Explaining why it has 'Not for broadcast' written on it.
