This clip is from a teleplay written by Sumner Locke Elliott, titled The Grey Nurse Said Nothing. It is a courtroom drama that was inspired by the 'Shark Arm case' in Sydney in 1935. It was filmed in one day and was telecast live on ATN 7 in April 1960.

The Shark Arm case is a series of events that started with the capture of a large shark near Coogee Beach on 25 April 1935.

The Shark was taken to the Coogee Aquarium and put on public display but quickly became ill. Soon after, the shark vomited in front of a crowd of onlookers who noticed that it had regurgitated a man’s severed arm that had a very distinctive tattoo on it.

The discovery of the arm led to a murder investigation which in turn uncovered a second murder along with a fraud and smuggling racket.
