White Coolies* is a 1955 radio serial based on the memoir by Australian nurse Betty Jeffrey about her experiences in the Second World War. The cast included June Salter and Ruth Cracknell.

In episode 7, Vivian Bullwinkel is reunited with other survivors of the Vyner Brooke at a Japanese prisoner of war camp and tells them her experience of the Banka (Bangka) Island massacre.
