The lush woodlands of Western Australia's national parks make for an unlikely setting for this chaotic workplace comedy. This clip from the web series Aussie Rangers, which features a majority First Nations cast and crew, introduces us to our hapless park rangers and their latest predicament.

Sight gags and eccentric dialogue quickly establish the mismatched personalities and ambitions of the motley crew, who are now under threat of being swallowed up by the whims of the Parks and Wildlife Department. The clip shows how Aussie Rangers draws on the economic style of classic sitcoms while adding a bolt of idiosyncratic Indigenous humour specific to life in WA.

Co-creators Shakara Walley and Perun Bonser later collaborated on the 2018 documentary Nyoongar Footy Magic: A Team of Champions.
