Footage of the 1972 Summer Paralympics which were held in Heidelberg, West Germany. Alina Wojtowicz wins the gold medal in the 50 metres Women's Freestyle 4. Australian swimmer, Pauline English (in the yellow swimming costume) won the bronze medal.
Don Worley was requested by the (then) South Australian Paraplegic Sports and Social Club to film the event. He escorted the Australian Team on their trip, the end result being a three reel film.
