Dreaming in Motion
Five First Nations filmmakers were showcased through the 2002 Dreaming in Motion initiative from the Australian Film Commission (AFC) Indigenous Unit and SBS Independent, including:
- Writer/director Wayne Blair's Black Talk produced byKylie du Fresne of RB Films and featuring the late Russell Page in one of the last works he appeared in
- Writer/director Beck Cole for Flat, produced by Rachel Perkins and Darren Dale of Blackfella Films
- Writer/director Warwick Thornton’s satirical short film Mimi, produced by Rachel Perkins and Darren Dale of Blackfella Films
- Writer/director Nicholas Boseley with Shit Skin, produced by Kimba Thompson through Sista Girl Productions and executive produced by Sally Riley
- Writer/director Samantha Saunders' romantic comedy Turn Around, produced by Jenny Day through Spirited Films.
